Beretis Efstratios is a graduate of the economics department of the University of Crete and holds a master's degree in tourism business management from the Hellenic Open University.

He speaks English, German, French. He has been in the tourism industry since 1990 where he worked in management positions in hotels reaching the position of manager and since 2001 he has founded his own travel agency.

Main object is incoming tourism in country houses and villas and hotel & property management.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Tourist Agents of Rethymno, of which he was president for a number of years, a member of the Board of FedHatta, a member of the Rethymnon municipal tourist committee, a member of Stama Greece.
